This section is to answer the most common questions that we have received since the project started.
1. How are you raising the money?
That is simple, whenever a new member joins PartyPoker or any of their sister sites and uses our bonus code “WINFORMORE” and passes all requirements, we are payed a 100% commission. From that commission we are able to raise money and donate once we reach our goals.
2. What do I have to do exactly?
All you have to do is join PartyPoker or one of its sister sites. Create an account using our bonus code “WINFORMORE” , deposit a minimum of $25 and play to reach 5 party points.
3. I don’t know how to play poker, can I still join?
If you don’t know how to play poker you don’t have to worry, there are also other games that you can play including Bingo, Backgammon, Casino Games and Online Sports Betting. If you want to try your hand at poker anyways, there are tutorials on how to play on partypoker.
4. I already signed up and played, but I want to do more. Is there anything I can do?
Yes there is, you can spread the word. The success of this project totally depends on how many people know about it, and how many people become members of PartyPoker. So the best thing you can do if you already joined, is to tell your friends/family about it. Other than spreading the word, if you would like to donate money, that option is also available. Just go to the Donate page and follow the instructions.
5. Why are you doing this?
We are passionate when it comes to Breast Cancer because it has touched so many of us. Dealing with our own experiences and hearing about those of others brought us to the conclusion that we can make a difference and it only takes a few people to get it started.
6. What do I get out of joining?
Other than the good feeling that will come after doing something for a good cause, whatever money you win on the website is yours. We know that people are already joining online gaming sites at a remarkable rate as it is, why not make something good come out of it?
7. Is there any restriction of who can become members?
All those joining must be at least 18 years of age. Also certain areas are restricted from playing on PartyPoker. These areas include: Bulgaria, Myanmar/Burma, India, Afghanistan, Cook Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, Nauru, Nigeria, Sudan, Sierra Leone, USA, China, Israel, France, Italy, and Turkey.
8. Can I join more than once?
No. The donation will only be counted for first time Real-Money Players. If you try to make a second account, PartyPoker will contact you to remove your old account.
9. What happens if I don’t reach the 5 points?
The points are easy to get, but in the event that you do not succeed in reaching them, we do not receive a commission for any players that do not fulfill all the requirements. Therefore, we will be unable to count your membership towards the donation.
10. Can I deposit more money to reach the points?
Yes. If you reach 5 points you will be counted towards the donation. Regardless of the amount of deposits you make.
11. Does it make a difference how much I deposit?
The minimum deposit is $25. We make 100% commission on your deposit up to $75. If you want to deposit more money to play that is entirely up to you, however, if does not affect the amount that we will be donating.
12. If I don’t have a credit card is there still a way that I can sign up?
Yes. You can use an electronic transfer using your bank account, as well as several other options that are listed.
13. To which organization are you going to be donating the money to?
As of this moment, we are planning to donate to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Depending on the success of the project we may decide to spread our donation to multiple organizations.
14. How much are you going to be donating?
For every 500 members, we will donate $10,000 towards Breast Cancer Research. If we reach 1000 members it will be $20,000 and so forth.
